go to bed...

One of the most adventurous things left us is to go to bed. For no one can lay a hand on our dreams."

-E. V. Lucas

It's only 9:30 p.m. but I'm ready for bed. I'm tired tonight and it has been a busy day. For some reason I have a hard time admitting to myself that I need the sleep. I always seem to end up playing around on the computer instead - LOL! So I will make this short and try and get straight to dream land.

I don't know if it is this way for most people but I seem to have an overactive dream factory in my head. I rarely have a night where I don't remember having a lot of very interesting and complex dreams. I would love to get into some dream interpretation, but on the other I really want to go there? I've thought about picking up a book on the meaning of dreams because my son is very interested in it also, but they all seem to have a great amount of focus on the racy stuff. Not really what I want him to read - and I'm really not wanting to delve into all that either.

So if you know of a good dream interpretation book that would be appropriate for even a child to read, please leave me a comment.

I will leave you with a few cool resources about sleep and dreams:

Sleep and Dreaming Experiments

Sleep Foundation

American Academy of Sleep Medicine
